Internet Child Safety
The Internet’s original goal was to share files and provide research for users, enabling them to share global information through a channel of wires, circuits, networks, and other devices. As moms we never thought we would have to worry about internet child safety. The internet proved useful in various ways by providing doctors, teachers, as well as other helpful tools that serviced people faster than going out in the field to find the data elsewhere. In fact, lives have been saved because of the wonderful creation of the World Wide Web. (WWW) Today most of all work is conducted is on the Internet, including homework.

The Internet offers us e-mail access, Instant Messaging, Chat Room, Webcam capabilities and more. The Internet however is a dangerous environment, since around the globe anyone can employ the Internet for any purpose they, choose.
Books or magazines supply footnotes, which are placed at the bottom of the pages for quick reference. Similar, footnotes are placed in documents, at the bottom, and throughout the websites for reference to provide links for extended information. In some of these footnotes are links to adult content, which could put your child at risk.
The chat room was designed to compliment Bell, which people often utilize alias names to send messages to each other. From around the world people are in the chat rooms, day and night seeking dates, conducting business, or chatting with friends. At what time a person enters the chat room, they first note a featured theme, e.g., Music, Movies, Sports, and Romance, et cetera. Often times the theme is misused. People will often cyber rather than communicate the intended subject.
Be aware! An example of why internet child safety is important is because predators prey on children using the chat room as a device to snarl his or her victims into a web of danger. Often a predator will manipulate the child, making the child believe that he or she is speaking with someone of his or her own age. After gaining confidence, the predator then moves in for his intended purpose. With this in mind, I will provide a report that was not so long ago announced for your convenience, providing an idea of what we need to watch out for in the chat room.
Over in the UK, a couple was arrested for lowering a young girl into a web of sexual abuse. The girl was solicited and forced to adhere to gross sexual behaviors. The police walked into the room of a motel and found all types of adult content, including sexual devices, rubber stockings, magazines of pornographic nature, and condoms. The police awakened at the moment they acknowledged a fourteen-year old child had been molested by a man eight years her senior. This incident brought MSN to shutdown their networking chat rooms, disabling most people around the world to utilize this feature. At the same time, reports came into focus that announced more than one million users on the Internet suffered online dangers. Now you might ask how can, I protect my child from online dangers. First, you need to learn the rules for child safety online.
